Online Noorani Qaida Classes
Noorani Qaida is the starting point for reading the Quran. WalQuran teaches it one-on-one, online, for children and adults who are learning Arabic letters for the first time.
What you will learn
- Arabic letter names and shapes, including the forms letters take at the start, middle, and end of a word.
- Short vowels (fatha, kasra, damma), tanween, sukoon, and shaddah.
- Joining letters into words and reading simple lines without guessing.
- Madd (lengthening) at a beginner level, so words are not rushed or cut short.
- Moving from the Qaida into short practice from the Mushaf once the letters are steady.
Who it is for
This course is for complete beginners: young children starting their first Quran lessons, and older students or adults who never learned to read Arabic script. You do not need any prior Arabic.
How the lessons work
Every class is one-on-one with a tutor. The lesson follows the student’s age and pace. A child may spend longer on a single letter; an adult may move through several lessons in a week. Classes are scheduled across time zones so you can learn from home. After Qaida, most students continue into Tajweed Essentials or regular Quran reading.
